Trolling the Shadows

Thunderous rubber!
Ka-thump, ka-thump!
Sounds loudly down under!
As bump they thump!

Hiding in shadows
A Troll needs a toll!
Not Bottles and cans
As onward they roll.

Driving the byways
A-creek and a-clack,
A Troll needs a toll
Of shin-bones to crack.

Come soon O’ twilight
And I will emerge.
A Troll needs a toll,
Of people to purge.

Knuckles and elbows
To gnaw in the night
Ankles and kneecaps
A Jötunn delight!

A Troll needs a toll.

Waste not the water
With bodies to dump!

Treading this passage
A price will be paid.
View you the river
For now its your grave.
